JOB DESCRIPTION
Today Trisotech is looking for a Software Mechatronics Engineer – UI User Interface Designer / Android Development to support the R&D needs of its manufacturing client deployed internationally.
As a member of the R&D engineering department, and reporting to the mechatronics software development team leader, you will be responsible for the development and integration of Android infotainment systems (AOSP) (vehicle services, voice services and media, mobile services, navigation services, etc.).
You will be involved in all phases of project development:
– Understanding the need and writing the requirements,
– Ideation, development, testing, documentation,
– Final delivery of the product for integration.
Tasks and responsibilities:
– Collaborate with hardware and embedded software engineers in the software development chain dedicated to graphical interfaces.
– Carry out the software integration of the graphical interface while maintaining a modular architecture, reusable components and user interfaces.
– Collaborate with other quality front-end or back-end developers, managers and teams to deliver an excellent user experience.
– Carry out benchmarks and participate in the choice of future solutions.
– Collaborate with suppliers in the development of electrical and electronic components as well as in determining deadlines and standards to be respected.
Required
Any experience greater than that required will be considered, and a salary accordingly may be offered.
The ideal candidate has, Minimum practical experience of 18 months or more:
– In the development of embedded software for production automotive infotainment systems,
– With the Android Auto and/or Android automotive operating system as well as the AOSP/Android Architecture/Android Stack/Android Framework/Android HAL Layer graphics stack,
– With IVI platforms and has knowledge of Java, Kotlin
– To integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles together,
– Demonstrate interest in learning and contributing to cutting-edge and emerging automotive computing technologies.

Salary and benefits:
